After 1 month of utilize, this IQAir unit earns my highest recommendation. I researched air purifiers for about a week before buying two IQAir units, one with the odor filter (Pro-Plus), and one without (Pro) to assist with allergies and asthma symptoms that my family suffers from. Both of them work absolutely perfectly, with valuable symptom relief within the first week of consume. The packaging was very accumulate, with each unit contained in double boxes similar to what you secure with high-end stereo equipment, including thick styrofoam inserts for cushioning. The unpacked units were glowing unusual and tidy, with an inspection page that detailed the performance accurate performance for my unit at each of the five individual speeds. The manual was nicely organized and easy to comprehend.

These are sturdy units that are somewhat heavy, but near with a convenient handle recessed on the top, as well caster wheels (which are optional to install) to roll the unit if you need to travel it periodically. The manual recommends clearance of at least 12 inches on all sides for optimal performance, so maintain this in mind for placement in your room. It is noisy at the highest setting, but works very effectively at quieter settings 2 or 3 in my 13' x 16' room. I also utilize an IQAir unit in a 20 x 20 room, and it cleans the air very well at setting 3. My son noticed so mighty improvement in his allergies and breathing after honest two days of exhaust, that when I moved the unit to another room for a night, he begged me to return it to his bedroom. We went on vacation for a few days, and he said that he could not wait to salvage wait on home because he missed the IQAir purifier.

If you are comparing the units with and without the odor filter, even the one without the odor filter leaves the air smelling unique and well-organized. In fact, for the first week, the one with the odor filter had a bit of a outlandish smell to it, which might have been coming from the odor filter itself. Unless you have a really indispensable odor jam, you can put the extra $100 that you pay for the "Pro-Plus" over the "Pro" model. The units stare identical from the outside, and you can order a retrofit assembly from the IQAir if you later want to convert your "Pro" to "Pro Plus." Each unit has a remote that is slightly larger than a credit card, which is very convenient if I want to change the setting after I acquire into bed.

In summary, these IQAirs are well worth the tag, which isn't as distinguished as it seems after you factor in the yearly filter replacement cost, which is lower than most other brands. I wish that I had discovered IQAir years ago, before wasting my money on other air purifiers. I am so impressed that I am about to order a third IQAir to employ in my office. I have previously owned the following air purifiers, none of which came anywhere finish to my IQAir units: Oreck XL Air8D, Oreck XL 4000, Holmes (various sizes), Honeywell (the largest colossal round one), Sharper Image (Ionic Roam) . I hated cleaning the Oreck units, which were overpriced, and their replacement filters were also very expensive on a yearly basis. The Orecks also left a lot of dust all around them. The motor burned out on my titanic Oreck unit objective after the two year warranty expired. The Honeywell filter was also very expensive, and the unit was extremely noisy. The Holmes units were ok for very limited rooms, but had to be on the noisiest high setting to peruse any air cleaning, had flimsy construction, and required frequent filter changes. The Sharper Image units were basically useless, as they did not improve the air quality or our allergy symptoms; they went wait on to the store after three weeks.

This was supposedly a top-of-the-line air cleaner but I bear it was an overpriced rip-off and let me order you why:

(1) Within one week of purchasing this unit from an authorized internet vendor, the unit got stuck at high rush and would not return to lower race. Called vendor (who would pay you $20 to give them a genuine review) and they told me I could return it within the 30-day guarantee period. No abet from them and no relieve from IQAir. Luckily, it returned to normal after one week.

(2) The power cable kept popping out. The castors at the bottom would crash easily if you support involving them around (not very well made) . The most annoying fraction is any bustle higher than 3 (up to 6) are very noisy and will wake you up. At hasten 6 it sounds like a jet plane.

(3) After owning it for not quite 4 months and without using it for 2 weeks, it started emitting laughable odor from the unit. The literature did warn you that chemical smell would be emitted from the V5-cell filter (specific for HealtPro Plus) near with this unit and any people who are sensitive to this type of smell may want to bustle it in an launch situation for 3 hours prior to its first exhaust. However, this smell was generated after running the unit almost four months.

(4) The worse section was when trying to call their technical serivce. Called a total of six times in one day and could not accept beget of anybody. To be gorgeous, the person did call me serve one time but missed me. Had to correspond by e-mails. He instructed me to retain only one filter in the unit at a time (Shlef 3 on top: Hepa filter; second: V5-cell filter and bottom Premax filter) . They are a afflict on the neck to purchase off but became easier when you got the hang of it. Found out it was the V5-cell (that was supposed to gain rid of odor) actually emit the comic odor. The tecnical person at first said he would sell me another V5-cell filter prorated but changed his mind when I protested and decided to send me a recent one free of charge. I honestly demand grand better customer service (for solving problems and response time) from a company selling such expensive model. If this company does not improve its technical service, it is going be in troubles in a year or two with a unpleasant economy. Why pay so worthy to suffer? ISE gives a 3-year in-home service for their hot-water dispensers, that is what I would call superb service.

(5) You are better off unbiased remove the IQAir HealthPro model because if you add $89 for the V5-cell filter to change it to a HealthPro Plus model it will calm be cheaper than the mark of a HealthPro Plus. They did not sigh you that on the front ruin. My adivce is not to acquire the V5-cell filter at all because I do not acquire it has as long as a shelf life the company claims. I beleive you almost have to change it more often in order to avoid humorous odor.

(6) If you do not occupy from IQAir, you have to be very careful. Many of these vendors have a restocking fee or a slight returning period for the unit. However, they do offer free shipping.

I absorb I would not have so annoyed if I would have obtained better customer service (technical service) from IQAir. To me if they are a top-of-the-line air cleaning company they should act like one and offer their quality customer services equivalent to the quality of their products. Otherwise, they would soon be out of business impartial like all other companises who have mountainous products but with unpleasant services. Do you agree? I hope somebody from IQAir will read my comment and do something about it.

I have owned the IQAir HealthPro Plus for about a year, and would rate it as the best air purifier on the market. If you have chemical sensitivities, however, be aware that the unit will "outgas" for several days when it is first operated. This releases fumes into the air that may cause problems for those with asthma. I was unable to utilize the activated charcoal filter for this reason and am now running the IQAir without it. Even so, air filtration is mammoth... I sleep well at night and no sneezing or coughing at all. I notion to bewitch a second one for out beach house.

I had purchased an inexpensive Sony home theater in a box system that was a attractive nice system for the money spent. But I found myself with problems that had nothing to do with the quality of the system. As I watched movies, I was bothered by various ambient noises from my apartment... street noises, the people upstairs, water running through pipes, the hum of the refrigerator, etc. And, if I was hearing noises from the outside, it's a elegant well-behaved bet that people on the outside can hear what's coming from inside. So, I needed a solution, and it seemed the mutually generous solution was headphones. Unfortunately, while my HT receiver has a headphone jack, it only outputs 2 channel stereo sound, and it seems like a end to have to rely on that when I have a system splendid of outputting 5.1 channel sound. Doing some research I realized there was no arrangement to net surround sound through headphones with the equipment I had, even if I purchased expensive headphones. In fact, many tech-savvy posters on message boards scoffed at the concept of headphones producing surround sound altogether. Fortunately, they are improper.

In my research I found out about Dolby Headphone technology and read about the Pioneer SE-DIR800C. Dolby Headphone technology treats the sounds from different channels in a draw to acquire it sound like it's coming from different directions, the directions they would be coming from in a frail 5.1 based speaker space up. I had heard the do for myself with cheap stereo headphones and was not overwhelmed. But since the reviews of the Pioneer system were all so respectable, I decided to blow my tax return on them.

What this Pioneer system does, based entirely on the movie watching experience, is everything I needed. The simulation of surround sound is completely convincing. So powerful so that I have a hard time believing its simulated. The headphones are well designed, lightweight and comfortable and do a tremendous job of keeping out sound. I've watched several movies so far with them, and often the sounds of the movie are all I can hear through the length of the film... a far roar when I peep movies with my speaker based system. Invariably you forget you are listening to headphones and lose yourself in the film, if you are watching a expedient film. The sound is certain and launch, and the bass is deep, though it can't recreate the achieve of an earth shaking subwoofer. But it's such a joy to have the volume cranked up without worrying about disturbing anyone. There are some minor inconveniences with the invent of the unit... there's no outputs or remote, for example... but that wouldn't be a plight if you had a separate receiver with an output and remote... unbiased have a single digital output going from your HT receiver to the pioneer receiver and you can composed control all your inputs with the HT receiver remote. I wouldn't have minded using a wired headphone but this wireless status is flawless for watching movies (if you're listening to music and want to trot around you'll lose the signal if you leave the room) .

The Pioneer receiver has a separate headphone jack, so if you have one friend over (or two perhaps, with a headphone splitter), they can listen. Since I have no headphones as nice as the wireless ones included in the status, I'm not distinct if high ruin headphones plugged into a Dolby Headphones processing jack would be as effective as these headphones. If I didn't already have a speaker based HT system, I might have considered looking for one that has Dolby Headphones processing and purchasing a pair of expensive, high waste headphones. But since I already had a system, purchasing this Pioneer system was less expensive (though expensive none the less) and offers me everything I could have possible needed. There is one dilemma with the headphones... you might accept gross. After using them I saw a movie in a theater with broad DTS sound. But I could hear people whispering, eating popcorn, sucking down the last of their sodas, and a man with respiratory problems, and I found myself wishing I could have been using these headphones in the theater.

I am a night creature, which until I moved in with my novel roommate was not an converse. Unfortunately, he is a bit of a light sleeper, so if I wished to continue to witness movies at 2am, I was going to need a area of headphones.

I knew from the inaugurate that wireless was going to be the only option for me, and I residence about on an exhaustive four day hunt online for the best ones I could win, and the Pioneer SE-DIR800C really stood out. of course, so did the price; $300 is a lot to utilize on what I considered to be a novelty item, but it was the only one that delivered on both sound and connection performance, so I took the drop.

And so far, I could not be happier, with a few minor annoyances.

SOUND: GOOD

It really creates surprisingly lawful sound, though all of it sounds unprejudiced a tad mechanical and tinny. It has several Dolby Pro Logic modes that all sound equally suitable, and it even manges to reproduce surround sound in a reasonably delightful device.

CONNECTIVITY: EXCELLENT

As long as I am in front of the map, it never looses connection. Never. it never pops, or crackles, or goes soundless at all, no matter how I fade my head, even when I am lying down. However, a suggestion: Don't turn the headphones on until you gather your TV and cable box on first; I catch some loud popping if I do that in the imperfect order.

Of course, these are line of witness headphones. You have to be in front of the diagram for them to work, though I have found I can be directly to the side of them with no loss in connection at all.

And there are plenty of audio inputs (1 analog, 1 coaxial, 1 optical) in the support and a certain and simple diagram to switch between those inputs (though lacking a remote, which is slightly wearisome)

BATTERY: DECENT

I seem to be getting about 12-14 hours from the two rechargeable AA batteries that advance with the headphones, which is quite gracious in my concept. The fact that the foul place also charges the batteries is a nice touch, but I was disappointed that you actually have to rob the batteries from the headphones and insert them into the spoiled for this to work. It is a minor annoyance, but I rep myself putting regular batteries in while charging the ones that came with it, which kind of defeats the purpose.

DESIGN: POOR

It is unbiased so damn shocking. It is 1970's Battlestar Galactica homely. Carrot Top gruesome. The headphones themselves are actually rather delicate in their form; simple and understated. The scandalous space, however, looks like someone stuffed Christmas lights into a digital scare clock from 1990, complete with vast, round plastic buttons all across the top. The entire front of the draw is constantly aglow with green and red LED lights. It's like a condensed version of Kitt's dashboard next to your television. It looks it belongs in an feeble Devry commercial. It is really, really frightful.

COMFORT: GOOD

I have found I can wear the headphones for about 2 to 4 hours without having to shift them. I have friendly sized ears and I can tranquil tuck them perfectly into the headphones. they are lightweight, and with a few pillows propped and folder unhurried my head, I can wear them lying down with no discomfort.

I've had these headphones for about a year. They are comfortable, and the sound quality is gigantic. However, today, the headphones broke. It seems the swivel mechanism is a very exiguous and thin plastic share. If this section were made of metal, it would be OK, but the plastic can't possess up. I'm not rough with these, but I didn't handle them as if they were made of thin glass either. It is physically a bad accomplish, in my belief as an engineer.

This is too terrible. The speakers and audio system are enormous, but the physical package is not up to the task. They need a re-design, badly.

I bought this ladder to replace and primitive light duty 20ft extension ladder that i had in the garage that fair wasnt long enough or strong enough.I read all the reviews on this ladder before i bought it and all i kept hearing is "this ladder is too heavy" or "it a afflict to lug around".Well the people are honest it is heavy and it is a harm to lug around however if someone wanted a light ladder they should have bought a lighter duty one.Petite Giant says its a HEAVY duty muti-ladder hence its "Heavy"!DUH!So people cease complaining. If you didnt want a heavy duty ladder then you should have bought one of those generic 200-250lb capacity ladders.

I specifically read a few reviews about a few Pudgy guys like myself that have been using this ladder with no problems so that sold me apt there.I personally am pushing the 300lb notice. The ladder is very strong and i wasnt ever frightened going up it.It always seemed to be very sturdy even when it wasnt on a completely level surface. There are a couple of down falls on this ladder.Using this ladder as an extension ladder is a damage in the butt!!Extending this ladder and putting it up is a chore from the weight so you better "PACK A LUNCH" or have a friend benefit you.I seen the video of Tiny Giant demonstrating how to extend the 26' ladder on your have and i followed the steps impartial as they showed but i had to bust my butt to do it and i got hit in the head a few times trying it.I content the guy in the video made it peep effortless!I squawk there had to be a guy hidden above the ladder out of approach of the camera helping him extend it.I didnt even extend mine completely and i level-headed had problems and im not what you call a whimpy runt guy either.Exiguous Giant needs to design some type of pulley system for this ladder to extend it.

Using the Itsy-bitsy Giant as an A-frame ladder is dazzling nice. Its easy to extend and setup. Its nice to be able to rush up either side of the ladder and i was able to switch sides on the ladder when i was at the very top without having to go benefit down the ladder.Heck i wasnt even on a level surface. One of the legs wasnt even touching the ground because i was too slothful to extend the leg leveler i had on this ladder.Even with this ladder wobbling around on 3 feet i collected felt very friendly.

Conclusion-- The Tiny Giant 26' ladder is definitely a strong ladder and well made.Vast for the larger guys!!If you'll be using it as an extension ladder most of the time,i really suggest go buying a regular extension ladder if you have the room to store it.Like i said "Puny Giant needs to produce some type of pulley system to extend the ladder"!Using it as an a-frame ladder is a pleasure though. The plus with this ladder is its dinky compact store set under 7ft ample, and folding it up,it will stand correct on its hold. There are trade offs with this ladder.Weight vs its compact size.It weighs a ton but it is compact, very strong, and well made.I only give it 4 stars because of how considerable work it is to exhaust it as an extension ladder. The shorter versions of the Limited Giant probably dont have as noteworthy extension problems because of the weight issues as the larger version has and im positive they are a tiny easier to carry around too.

I purchased this ladder to utilize along with an identical ladder that I borrowed from my brother. I ragged the two ladders to accomplish a tall scaffold (plank 8 feet off the ground and 16 feet long) . The ladder performed wonderfully. I have aged for other jobs on uneven sufaces and very high jobs. The ladder works mountainous and is worth every penny. It is heavy as others have mentioned but you have to request that for a ladder of this size and strength.

I like it. It does what it is supposed to do. I abominate lugging it and I dislike folding it relieve up. But I couldn't do without it.

If you are looking for a elephantine blown home theater system then it will not fit the deal.Sound quality is respectable, but it only works as an amplifier for your unique tv speakers.

the surround sound is not spacious, but works sparkling for a diminutive room.

In short not even halt to a home theater system, but fair a region of pleasurable speakers.
